About Us

Waterloo Finance Organization (WFO) is a student-run organization affiliated with the University of Waterloo. The team partners with clients in the private capital industry, supporting initiatives spanning transactional analysis and industry research. Through these engagements, members build meaningful client relationships while embracing the learning opportunities each assignment provides. Drawing on prior experience with search funds and private equity firms, the team has a track record of delivering high-quality service to its clients.

WFO's members bring direct industry experience from internships across the private capital landscape, including roles in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Credit Investments, and Hedge Funds at top firms. This breadth of exposure allows the team to draw on real transactional and analytical experience when supporting client engagements, ensuring a level of rigor and industry fluency that benefits every assignment.
